Welcome at Trans*Counseling Göttingen!

The Trans*Counseling Göttingen is a counseling center on the topic of transgender (e.g. trans, transident, transsexual, non-binary, genderqueer people). We offer counseling for trans people, people who are wondering whether they might be trans, friends and relatives, as well as people who work with trans folks like social workers, psychologists and other professionals.

We offer consulting in the Queer Center Göttingen, via telephone or video chat. If desired, we also offer consultation on a walk. We are expanding our team!

We are very happy to welcome new team members to our counseling team! We are now starting to integrate them into our work, most of which we do ourselves or supervise and organize.

Our team works on a voluntary basis and our capacities are limited accordingly. Therefore, there may be delays in answering inquiries and making appointments.

This group is for all people who are curious & interested, questioning & doubting, simply on the way to finding themselves. Everyone who does not, does not always or does not fully identify with the gender they were assigned at birth is welcome here.
