Schwimming for trans*inter* & friends

The swimming specifically addresses all trans and inter students who like to swim and enjoy leisure time without the common obstacles in public swimming areas.

The pool area as well as the changing rooms will be opened exclusively for trans and inter people and their friends. All areas will be void of gendered markers and body-related rules. Thus, everyone is welcome to participate regardless of their (current) body shape or preferred swimming clothes. This environment is all about feeling safe, respecting each other’s boundaries, and minding one’s own respectful behaviour.

Support group for family and friends of trans* people - usually in German

every third Wednesday of the month, 18.30 - 20.00h, Online

 

A group for family and friends (parents, partners, siblings, children etc.) of trans* people.

 

We want to get into conversation with each other, the topics arise depending on the needs and interests of those present. What is important to us is a solidarity relationship with our trans* relatives, friends and loved ones, the desire to learn from one another and the hope to be supportive wherever our support is needed. We want to sensitize ourselves to the topic and at the same time create a space to talk about hopes, fears and experiences.

You are between 14 and 27 and lesbian, gay, bi, pan, queer, asexual, aromantic, trans*gender, non-binary / a-binary or you are wondering whether one or more of these words might suit you? Then you might be interested in the queer youth group of Queeres Göttingen. If you want to bring friends wiht you who do not live like that themselves and are a support for you, you are also welcome to bring them with you.

We are a group of trans women and other trans feminin people in Göttingen and the surroundings. We meet up once a month to get informed about different topics, exchance experiences and to empower each other.

Beyond than we want to have fun and spend time together.

All events take place online or in the Queeres Zentrum Göttingen. The center is a the intersection Hannoversche Straße/ An der Lutter.
